I randomly googled Alison's name today to see if I could make contact and was shocked to hear of her passing.

I have many wonderful memories of a lovely person who was my friend when she lived in Rockhampton.

Sara and my daughter Rhyanna were friends and as families we had many good times together.

I am saddened at her loss and so sorry I didn't make contact before to let her know how often I have thought of her.

My sincere sympathy to you Bill and to Sara - her memory will always live in my heart.

(I deleted my earlier post to erase my e-mail address, to avoid spam. Thanks, Bill, for your kind response. This is what I wrote late last night:)

I am deeply, deeply shocked to hear of Alison's passing. She was my first girlfriend, when I was 16. We continued to be very good friends and dated again in college.

Her family and friends have my sincerest condolences. She was such a bright spirit. I hope someone can tell me more of her life there, and how it was that she met such an untimely end.

It's pretty late here in the U.S., and I happened to look up where she might be now. We lost touch and I hadn't heard from her (or vice versa) for more than 25 years, but now I'm going to find it hard to sleep.

Sorry if this is so disjointed. If anyone can tell me more, please write to me. I'd enjoy sharing memories of Amy (she was always Amy back then) with her children.

I still think of Alison every day. I feel so blessed she was a part of my life and my family's lives. There's definitely another angel in heaven, but she sure is missed here on earth by us. Love you A2...till we meet and hug again.

Every day I see Alison's name in my Skype contact list and I think of how great it would be to hear her voice again. We had so many wonderful conversations over the years and I so miss her laugh. Alison was a wonderful manager and friend - it's not often the two can mix. I am glad to have had the chance to know her.

I can't tell you how shocked we were to hear of Alison's passing. We truly enjoyed getting to know your family when Cassidy and Sara were in the same J2A class at Church of Nativity. We've got all of you in our prayers. Take care. Love, The Boneham Family

What a wonderful tribute to such a remarkable woman. I thank God repeatedly for allowing me to know her. We had planned to do many things "after the conference" in late October... I am sad we didn't get to have that time together, but ever so thankful to have had our friendship. I know she is with our Lord Jesus and that we will meet again soon in a place where there are no tears and all is complete. Thank you for putting together the treasured memories and for sharing Alison with me :)

Love,

MM
